If you are looking for another project to jump start the spring season...get out those summer flowering bulbs! Plant them in a pot and place them in a warm and sunny location in your home. Water them only once until they begin to show top growth or risk rotting the bulbs. Be sure to not place the bulbs too deeply in the soil! Most summer flowering bulbs are extremely sensitive to frost so watch the temperatures before your plant your new bulbs in the garden and...enjoy your early start to the growing season!!Saturday, March 13, 2010
