Getting ready for spring!! Checking soaker hoses and spreading Preen in the rest of the gardens. One of our favorite garden tips...put Preen on the melting snow-there was enough of that this year!! We worked on the potting shed and garden today. Looking forward to making memories with all of you this year!

It all starts with a seed! Welcome to our blog! TLC Country Floral is nestled on the Nebraska prairie between Fremont and Hooper. We grow and dry flowers harvested from gardens located on our property. We use many methods to dry flowers including air drying and freeze drying. The beautiful blooms harvested from our gardens are used to create stunning arrangements in traditional, vintage and contemporary containers. Others adorn wreaths and swags. Our extensively landscaped property includes a potting shed, gazebo, granite patio, rose garden, pergola and cutting garden. Our landscape includes over 100 container gardens that showcase the unique and unusual plants we sell in our greenhouse. Each year we hold two to three scheduled open houses. During the growing season we host shop and garden tours by appointment. We invite you to follow our blog as we share decorating and design ideas for your home and garden. We will show you what’s blooming behind our garden gate and share with you how to grow it in your own garden. We will show you the new designs and treasures available in the shop and give you ideas about adding life and texture to your home with the use of flowers. You may even see a familiar face on our blog when we post pictures of some of our summer visitors. Thanks for sharing this amazing journey with us! It really does all start with a seed!
