Feeling Like Spring!

We wait the entire winter for a glorious day like this, don’t we? The robins are filling the air with song and the doves are providing a chorus from the trees. Occasionally the geese chime in as they fly overhead. Our little plants are growing, more blooms are appearing in the greenhouse, seeds are being sown and there’s some serious furniture building happening around here today! It’s beginning to feel like spring on the flower farm!

Ready For Some Summer Blooms?

Is anyone else ready for some summertime blooms? This memory made me smile on this icy day!

Spring Peonies

Working on some new designs in the shop this afternoon! Peonies make me excited for spring and they freeze-dry so beautifully! They truly look like they’ve been freshly picked from the garden!

We’re Thinking Spring!

Spring is beginning to show up everywhere out here on the flower farm! Beautiful blooms harvested and freeze-dried from our gardens, fine-art prints of images captured in our landscape and lots of whimsical and vintage treasures! We’re excited for the growing season to begin!

A Special Gift!

Our Plumeria plants are stored in the basement where they remain dormant until spring. Well...they are supposed to remain dormant! I gave them their occasional drink of water this morning and was met with this beautiful surprise! Such a special gift on this cold and snowy winter day!

I’m Back!

This past year has been filled with technology issues! A new laptop led to problem after problem. Our credit card machine crashed on the eve of a major open house and then the IPAD decided to perform an update making our blogger app obsolete! We’ve spent a good part of the winter getting everything updated and working with the help of Nate at Computer Medics in Fremont. Thank you to everyone who has kept track of us on Facebook and Instagram. It feels great to be on the blog again! We’re looking forward to sharing all the fun things we have planned for the 2018 growing season!
