A Rare Bloom...

Our Indonesian Lily is blooming. Although beautiful...we are somewhat grateful to only see the occasional bloom from this plant. The bloom has an odor of rotting flesh to attract the flies that pollinate it. The common name of 'Corpse Flower' is quite fitting! This is one time I am grateful I cannot share the scent of a bloom with you!
